Ontario WSIB Regulation First Aid Kits
If you have a business in Ontario, you must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act’s Regulation 1101 under Section 3 of the WSIB Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. As a business owner, it is your responsibility to ensure that your employees have access to adequate first aid supplies at all times. WSIB First Aid Kit Requirements are based on the type of business and how many people are employed. Regardless of what type of first aid kit the business needs, it is important to make sure the kits are monitored for adequate supply levels on a regular basis to ensure they stay within the regulations. - 6-15 EMPLOYEES - Ontario Section 9 First Aid Kit
- 16-199 EMPLOYEES - Ontario Section 10 First Aid Kit
*WSIB now accepts CSA Z1220-17 First aid kits. To meet the Regulation 1101 first aid obligations under WSIA, workplaces have the option of supplying the Regulation 1101 First aid kit requirements or CSA Z1220-17 First aid kits for the workplace.
